  2. Xbox one s fuzzy screen

im running my xbox one s in 4k mode and for the most part it plays fine. But when ever i try to watch netflix (non 4k) or regular tv after awhile the screen would flicker then turn fuzzy like an old tv with no signal. Ive watched 4k on this tv before while
streaming and it hasnt done that before. Usually when it happens i have to change the input on the tv to correct it. Any suggestions?

Adjust aspect ratio in a TV(1366*768p) for Xbox series S

as your screen is a non tv standard resolution then you will either always lose a bit of the picture or the image will be smaller than the screen, the xbox one s will only output 1080p or 720p or 480p.

Hi, JoshuaBonzet! thank you for reaching out.

My name is AJ, I'm an Independent Advisor for the Xbox Community.

I'm sorry to hear you've been experiencing some issues with your console.

Here are a few things you could try:

1 - Power cycle your console

    * Press and hold its power button until it shuts down, then unplug it for 3 - 5 minutes.

2 - Remove all external devices from your console's USB ports.

3 - Use a different HDMI port on your TV/monitor.

4 - Disable all visual enhancement features on your TV.

5 - Unplug your TV for a few minutes (while it's off)

6 - Reset your TV video settings to default.

    7 - Try using a different TV.

8- If you are using an HDMI Splitter/Switch, plug your console directly into one of

    your TV's HDMI ports.

    9 - Do a soft factory reset

    * Go to Settings > System > Console Info > Reset console > Keep games and apps. Just keep in mind you will need an internet connection and your account details (email and password) to complete this process.

** Resetting your console to its factory defaults erases all accounts, saved games, settings, and home Xbox associations. Anything not synchronized with Xbox Live will be lost. If your console has been constantly connected to the internet and Xbox Live services, your saved data should be backed up on the cloud.

10 - If none of these work, it means your console's problem is hardware related and for that, it would need to be serviced.

Do you know if your console is still under warranty? if your console is under warranty, repairs would be free of cost. Xbox consoles typically have a warranty period of 1 year after purchase, although this may vary depending on your country of residence.

    * If you want to check your warranty status and/or issue a service order, click on the next link: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/devices

Once your console is registered, click on "See details" and start a service order from the "Device coverage" section.

Note: If your Xbox console or Xbox accessory is no longer covered by your Standard Limited Warranty, you may be eligible for out-of-warranty service for a fee. Please refer to this page for more information on out-of-warranty service orders: https://support.xbox.com/en-US/help/hardware-ne...
