Xbox One S Storage Space Issue on Xbox

I have continually gotten this error for about half a year now. I am unable to play FIFA 20 because it's telling me I don't have enough storage when I have 400 gbs of free space as every game I own is on my external hard drive. I get this error all the time when I play Call of Duty but it doesn't prevent me from playing the game whereas with FIFA I can't save anything.

Any ideas?

The error I'm receiving is 0x80830003.

I moved the game from my external hard drive to the Xbox just to test but that didn't work either.

Have you tried uninstalling and installing the game? I also suggest leaving the console completely unplugged for 5 minutes and trying again!

Is this an Xbox One, S, S All Digital, or X?

Have you verified there is plenty of free space on the Internal Storage drive? You can check under Settings > System > Storage.

Hi there,

the difference between a regular Xbox One s and a Xbox One S 1TB will be that the 1TB version will have a 1tb storage device and not a 500GB storage device.

So the 1TB which is about 1000GB will have approx. twice the storage amount compared to the 500GB version.

Keep in mind that if needed the storage space can be expanded by connecting an external storage device (USB 3.0 and at least 256GB) to expand the available storage on any Xbox One console.
