    XBoX one s stopped playing discs since last update of Blue Ray player app


    Been playing Ultra 4k HDR blurays with no problem and now will not load and gives message, "error reading this disc." I have reloaded the app and still will not read. I have tried all my ultra discs, including those that worked before with no luck.
    I noticed the app was updated on December 7th. I just uninstalled the app and reloaded (December 10th) with no change. Is there another app available I might try for the XBOX One S? Thanks for any help.

    Blu Ray app stopped working

    I've had my console since 11/22. My Xbox stopped playing Blu Ray and DVD discs on 12/18. I've tested the discs in other players and they work fine. When I try to use the Blu Ray app, I get error code 0x80070006. I don't use instant on, I've reinstalled the
    app and tried the offline update tool with no luck on resolving the issue. Game discs still work.

    Blu-ray Player - audio sync, volume, unable to play disc, and freezing issues.

    Within the last week or two I started having problems with audio out of sync, DVD/BD discs not playable, and freezing while either Blu-ray player app is starting or when skipping tracks. I've noticed it more since the forced Blu-ray player app update. The
    system volume is also significantly lower when playing discs. Problem occurs with multiple discs, all of which play perfectly on my PS3.

    Games, Netflix and TV apps don't seem to have the audio sync or lower volume issues.

    The Xbox One S supports Blue Ray. Is there a reason you are looking to connect an external blue ray player?

    Xbox One supports 3D Blu-ray discs when played on 3D TVs. Try checking whether there are any updates for The Blu-ray player app
