    Xbox One S - Static/Buzzing from TV Speakers


    When any game was loading I was hearing an awful audio buzzing/static noise from my TV speakers.

    The noise would also occur when I turned my controller off using the Xbox button.

    I reset my Xbox to factory but kept my games and tried a different HDMI port on my TV.

    The noise was still there.

    I then swapped out the factory Xbox HDMI cable with a random HDMI cable I had.

    This fixed the problem. No more buzzing noise when loading or after turning controller off.

    Try contacting xbox customer service they may be able to replace the xbox hdmi for you since you found this to be the definite problem. Most likely the cord is just faulty it can happen.

    I get that buzz too, but only for about a second or so. It sounds like the static you get when you plug in a cable to speakers, only much louder.

    Are you referring to a play and charge cable? Usally the issue is within the fact that you’re running a current into the controller which causes that static/buzzing sound to be picked up by other players speakers. Best fix is to stay wireless imo
