Xbox One s - Sound Gets Quieter & Quieter...

Hello,

Thought it was my ears at first. When I have the headset in and am in co-op or party or whatever it may be, the audio coming through my speakers on my soundbar and subwoofer is fine.

The longer I play, I have started to notice the sound get more quiet until eventually it is so quiet I can hardly hear anything.

Turn it off at the mains, leave it for a couple of minutes, plug it back in, its fine - but repeat the above and it will start doing it again.

The X1s is a week old.

Any ideas?

Back from repair, still fan noise

i just received my Xbox one S back repair and it seems nothing was done. I still hear the fan clicking noise. Am I overreacting on how quiet the Xbox one S should be ? I could hear it during quiet scenes in movies and games. I know the fan needs to be on,
but I had computers with multiple fans that were more quiet. It's the clicking that's driving me crazy. The ones that have "quiet" fans, is the sound still audible enough so you can hear it 10 feet away. I'm about to hook up my regular Xbox one as it was super
quiet.

 

Anyone else's Xbox one run really loud?

That doesn't sound good. My X1 is quieter than a baby fart.

 

try doing a hard reset by holding the power button on the front of the console until it turns off then unplug the console from outlet for a couple of minutes then plug back in and power back on. I also want to mention not to have the S console plugged into
a surge protector because there is already one built in and can cause problems for console functionality.

That's an odd issue. Can you clarify what type of headset you're using when you have this trouble?
