    Xbox one s shutting off


    Hi,

    My Xbox one s randomly shuts off when i try to watch a youtube video or if i try to play any game. Its not over heating and its not dusty, it just restarts.

    I’m not sure what to do. I’ve tried unplugging and pluging it back in, restarting it and even moving to a different place in my house.

    my friend was over today and didnt have a single problem, maybe it has to do with my power cord or something in my Xbox

    Hey,

    Is it affecting all games or just a certain one?. I am no expert but it’s more then likely over heating. Make sure you have it in a well vented area. You could also try compressed air to blow out any dust. If all else fails you could try and wipe the Xbox for a fresh start or contact Microsoft to have it repaired

    The same issue happens when I try to view the games with gold video. It will shut my Xbox completely off and do a hard reset. I own an Xbox One S.

    This was mine. It was working at the time you replied, although im experiencing the problem again. I think this will be a reoccuring issue. I shut off my console w/ my controller if thats anything. And left it for 4 hours. When i went to watch netflix at
    night, the problem occured.
