    Xbox one S shutting down


    My sons console keeps shutting off mid gameplay. So I first contacted support. And they were great. The instructed us to update and reset the system to factory settings. And it did not solve the issue. We also were informed that the console (his Xmas
    gift) was out of its one year warranty by 6 months. Our options included sending it in for repairs which would cost upwards of $120-$150. Ouch. So I took to the internet to look for answers. We tried everything we could to fix the issue ourselves. We
    even opened the console to clean out the dust, which there was none. Apparently this is a common issue many are having. And there is no fix. The Manufacturers defect is an internal power supply which is inside the system and involves the wiring and circuitry.
    Many others have caught the issue before their one year warranty is up. We weren’t so lucky.

    This entire situation has irritated us to the point that we have decided to go cash out our Xbox accessories and go with the other guys.

    Xbox one s shutting down

    Little bit more info as its just done it while i was posting the last message.

    Playing game then game freezes and makes a sound through tv speakers which sounds a bit like an old pc loading of tapes does this for 3 or 4 seconds then totally shuts down but will power back up straight away then runs as if nothing has happened
