    XBOX one S shuts down on game start


    Hello

    Brand new xbox one s direct from microsoft.

    Able to download games no problem, as soon as a start one however within 20 seconds the xbox shuts down.

    Plenty of ventilation, plus in the UK, its not exactly hot here. Kids upset, assuming I have a lemon.

    Did a factory restore, no dice.

    On the top of the box is a large ventilated circle, if there is a fan behind it, I don't hear it. This box is silent. Having had an XBOX360 thats either genius, or the source of the issue?

    Any ideas?

    Keeps shutting down

    Turn Xbox one on, start game and it shuts down. Does with several different games. Unit is only 18 mo old

    and Xbox has not shut down to 360 servers, this is a rumor started by people who don't understand that they're only shutting down the ability to purchase games, not use or access the digital ones you own after July

    Little bit more info as its just done it while i was posting the last message.

    Playing game then game freezes and makes a sound through tv speakers which sounds a bit like an old pc loading of tapes does this for 3 or 4 seconds then totally shuts down but will power back up straight away then runs as if nothing has happened

    It's been shut down and its not coming back. MS shutting down Project Spark was one of the biggest fails of the so called 300,000 Servers for Xbox One.

    The PS Community from the PS Forums (also shut down) tried to start a
    Feedback Request     for keeping the Servers open but alas MS doesn't care about Gamers despite what comes out of the heads of Xbox.
