    Xbox One S Set Up - Connection Problem


    I'm setting up my new console for the first time

    After connecting wirelessly and saying I'm connected to the internet I've been stuck on 'Checking your Connection' for ages with no progress.

    I restarted the console and tried connecting with a wired connection. Again it says I'm connected but then gets stuck on 'Checking your Connection...'

    Any suggestions as I'm starting to get a bit pissed off already?

    Xbox wont pick up the full speed of my connection.

    Recently i set up a connection to my Xbox One through a Lan wire. My internet service speed is around 100mb/s but on the xbox, it only around 10mb/s at max.

    This has been an on going issue and i have tested the wire on my laptop and can confirm i get 100mb/s on the laptop but the Xbox will only pick up a bad connection. Idk if its a hardware fault or a software problem. Please help me

    Although nothing is certain, with the Xbox one X and S you need an internet connection to firstly set up and install the download for the inital set up, so the chances are that you will also need one for the Xbox Scarlet when it comes out.

    I am having the same problem. I am setting up my son's new Xbox one s and got past the update section. Once we got to the account login and typed in email (for a valid account) it's like it freezes. I even tried to create a whole new email just to see
