    Xbox One S Security/Privacy


    Okay, so I got a new Xbox One S VERY recently. When I went to go and buy a Minecraft skin pack it said my security and privacy settings were not allowing me to buy it.

    On my Xbox 360, I had no restrictions on my account whatsoever. I'm 17 so I can't change my settings. I can't remember my parents' password to the account (and they can't remember either) so I can't change my privacy settings. I tried changing my age as
    well but it didn't work.

    This is very VERY frustrating as my account settings should've been the same when I signed into my X1S, but no, I can't buy anything! I have a $50 gift card and I wanted to get Rocket League, but I can't.

    Is there some way I can get this fixed? Do I have to make my Xbox One S my home console or something?

    Did you set your permissions on your Xbox account as suggested by Fernando?

    To change your Xbox account privacy settings, sign in to the privacy & online safety page:

    Set all the settings to "Allow" or "Everyone" on the three tabs:

    Privacy;

    Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One & Windows 10 Online Security;

    Xbox 360 Online Security;

    Looks like it is just a matter of privacy settings.

    To change your Xbox account privacy settings, sign in to the privacy & online safety page:
