Xbox one s screen time does not work when offline

There are quite a few ways to bypass screen time that any kid can do if they looked it up, but this way is by far the easiest and biggest oversight.

I really hope my kids do not figure any of the ways out.

Thanks for coming to the forums with your issue. Unfortunately, offline play will not be recorded and screened. This is due to the settings are set on the servers, and when you are offline you are not connecting to the servers. There is currently nothing
in place for offline play.

i have an xbox one

i cant get to the dashboard screen. The only screen i get is the updating screen. Also, i tried the offline updating method and it didnt work. but ill try one more time

I have a Xbox one S, I've tried everything first time I had it working i had my wierd connection in and it worked straight away. I pulled the usb out from doing a offline system update and I went to load a game in it crashed and switched off it went on the
green loading screen for about 10 minutes before I turned it off again to do a factory reset to the system and do process all over again.

But that's when it got stuck on 86% & it was applying the update when I was doing a offline update and its stayed like that for 30 mins.

Can you please try using the console guide below and follow the option for "I need to update my console offline" when the Troubleshhoting screen loads I would initially try the option to Reset this Xbox and select the option to keep games and apps. If this
does not work please try again but this time using the offline update option and you can install the update from a USB drive.
