xbox one s - s eno xobx

I am so very disappointed in my purchase of an xbox one s. my comparison is from the xbox 360 slim 250GB console. I purchased the one s as an upgrade but so far my experience with this system is one that I would not recommend

I assumed quite inaccurately that this would be a standalone system but it is not. Every game (even when the game is rubbish) takes such a long time to install and not only from disc but with almost each game needing an update and further network install!
I find this massively insulting - it would be extremely rude that many customers would be left out that do not have internet connection at home and even for me with a maximum of around 7.8Mb/s (that's mega bits per second) it takes far too long and is intensive
taking up a large part of the band width of the connection speed not allowing other devices or users to connect to do their thing - therefore dominating quite rudely.

It is really quite abhorrent I felt I had done my research, I spent time deliberating between this or a PS4 and came to what I felt was an informed decision. The version that I bought is the 500GB white, I got a deal with two controllers and a game at a
reduced price. When connecting the controllers feel a little on the cheap side (in comparison to the 360 controllers) and the home key is a pain, not as responsive or as easy to push or perhaps easy to push but the responsiveness is the issue. As for the
internal drive size I was also massively disappointed to see that the drive after the update and with system software loaded was only 380 or 385GB! That is disgusting to think that this system is sold as 500GB especially because every game needs between 30
to 50 GB or more!. I know with purchasing HDD's that the size is always overrated / rounded up but that is just a wee take

The navigation of the UI is so very annoying having to 'load' to a game page rather than just showing this as a tab as is with the 360 and the spread of the very large and then 'rowed' and then tinier parts is just very fiddly (LESS IS MORE). I feel that
in a month or so I have given this fair chance but it is really grating me that I bothered to fork out on this at all!

I have wasted so much of my time waiting to experience something great on this system but alas so far nothing. Well its nice that the power supply is now built in and that Microsoft at least caught up with SONY on that one. I am sticking with my 360 and
if I cannot get my money back on this (within the time allowed on receipt from Argos) I will most certainly sell it as I am close to not being able to bear my discontent with it for much longer

Where are the user options that could have been implemented such as install from disc minimal half or full of course with an effect on game play owing to access times from the bluray drive. I certainly will not buy the Scorpio when that comes out and may
go over to my next upgrade to a PS5

IF there is something that you can say or do that remedies any of this situation or console issues then please advice I eagerly await to see what can be done though I do not suppose much with hardware set up already as a fixed part of the problem

I am having the same problem I am trying to install DOOM and it isn't working I cant remember how to restart the XOBX one S and it keeps popping up 0x0 go to xbox.com/errorhelp and nothing seems to be working

 

Deleting an account?!

You have two options.

Or you can change the name of your acount (but that cost 800 ms points...).

Or you lose all you aquired in older acount and create a new one, but to delete a acount it´s a little complicade...

First go to your acount, and go to acount management

Go to acount management Xbox, xbox cancelation (and chose i want call a xobx suport manager, yeh you have to wait, they removed the direct toll to do that, explainyour case and i hope they will solve).
