Xbox One S Reset and Naming Topic.

I am making this topic about one thing that bothered me after resetting my Xbox One S.

After resetting my system the default named changed from Xbox_os_somethingsomething to XBOXONE

How the hell can i get the original default name back? I want it exactly how it first was with the underscores and numbers...

Please help, this is driving me nuts.

You can change the name in System under Settings, but you would have to remember the name.

Yes thank you, do you think if i called Microsoft or the chat support would know the original name?

Hi staged,

Think the numbers resembled something like this Xbox_os_10.0.17763.4088? All this is Xbox and then OS and the OS number which can be found under console info.

Hello Staged,

Thanks for coming to the forums with your question. The name that was on there, there is no way to tell what that name was. It was probably the original name that was on it. However, if you go to settings>system>console info click on name you can set the
name to whatever you like. Can set it as stages Xbox for example.
