    Xbox One S - Recording Game Clip To External Hard Drive, No Mic Audio Recorded


    Need a little help here.

    When recording game clips to my external drive, none of the mic audio is recorded. The Mic is checked in the Broadcast & Capture settings. Volume level is set higher than game. I tried creating a party & without.. any ideas?

    I have a similar problem when broadcasting to Twitch. Example: when playing Apex Legends, only my side of the audio is recorded.. not the other players.

    Any help you can give would be appreciated

    Did you check your headset to ensure the volume is not muted? Your mic may be muted. And also, check to make sure in the settings that the volume is set to headset for chat mixer.

    I pretty sure this only works during broadcasts - recording another person requires informed consent which most people wouldn't know about.

    I think microphone is not recorded in game clips, but is only broadcasted for broadcast reasons of course that is most likely the case. To capture the party they must select broadcast my voice in party for twitch/mixer in the party tab themselves or the
    viewers won't hear them
