    So basically I turned on my xbox today and I heard a rattling noise. I hard reset it and it still was rattling so I smacked it and it stopped. I don’t know what to say because it works perfectly fine now

    Hi, I hope you're doing great out there despite the issue that you're experiencing. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regards to your concern.

    For cases like this it can be a physical issue wherein a screw may have been removed or loose but since it’s working fine now that should do it. You can also try to reposition your console.

    Is this when you have a disk in the drive installing/loading a game or all the time? Some disk vibration is normal but some game disk can be unbalanced and sound worse. If it's all the time it's not right, exchange it.
