Xbox One S/Rattling noise/Hardware

So my Xbox One S made a loud vibrating/rattling noise from the fan area. Its brand new.

Anyone else experience thiis?

Xbox 360 S Rattling Noise

So i Bought a pre owned xbox slim and i am wondering why there is this small rattle sound coming from the back of the console. I initially took it out of the box and stood it up vertically, then i noticed this sound. Its faint but you can here it. It only
happens when you tilt the console. Is this common with the slim model or is something wrong with my console?

Xbox One S - Weird noise?

Hi - I recently bought and Xbox one S and can confirm mine is making the same noise- seems to be coming from the fan/fan bearing.

Looking on the web, a few people that have bought a One S recently appear to have 'rattling' fans. People appear to say its not normal however.

I'm going to try to take mine back to the shop I bought it from to see if they will exchange it for another one.

 

A good amount of vibration is normal while installing from a disc but rattling is not normal. If the system is on a flat surface when it does this, I would do a swap where you bought it at. If that’s not an option I suggest sending it in for repair https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/devices

 

Is this when you have a disk in the drive installing/loading a game or all the time? Some disk vibration is normal but some game disk can be unbalanced and sound worse. If it's all the time it's not right, exchange it.

 

this happened when i closed a game i have digitally downloaded. ill go trade it in. thanks.

 

Buy the compressed air and blow out all the Xbox exhausts.
