Xbox one S rarely comes on with controller?

Xbox one s won't turn on with controller, you have to literaly go up to the console and turn on and sometimes press it twice? Turns off no problem with controller.

Turns on with controller 2/10 times it comes on?

Where do you get something like this looked at?

Also you can try connected a android phone charger to controller then to console and make sire the firmware on the controller is updated.

My best bet would be to recalibrate your controller to your console and see if that works. It could be a problem with the connection between them. If not its a problem with either your controller or your console.

I'm pretty sure it's the box, if I have to go up to the console and have to press on it, first time doesn't come on usually have to press it a second time second try it's on!

I had a very rare occasion once where i plugged my controller in to update when i bought my xbox one S the controller overheated and the controller started smoking , never freaked out so much in my life , took it back to where i bought it and they didnt
believe me until they smelt smoke coming from inside the controller
