Xbox One S randomly Shuts Off While Gaming

Thank you for posting on Xbox Forums! I understand that having the Xbox One shut off by itself can be frustrating but I will be happy to assist you today with the issue. Just to clarify, have you tried to unplug the Power supply unit from the Xbox and
from the wall for 2 mins then plug them back in? If not I would suggest trying that out first.

Hey there

Do you have the console pluged into a power strip or power surge protetor bith of these can cause this issue. Its advised too have the console pluged right into the wall with no adapters or anything has they can cause power issues with the console

My initial impression is an overheating issue, but you may also be experiencing an overheating or even bad power brick. Is the power brick hot to the touch?

Do you have it plugged in to a power strip? Are you using an outlet adapter? Is the power brick working correctly? Is it properly ventilated and off the floor at all times?

There are several possibilities from overheating, improper voltage, and it being clogged with dust.
