  1. Xbox One S Randomly Losing Connection To TV

So I never had an issue with my xbox one connecting to my tv. A few weeks ago I bought a brand new Xbox One S and just started having problems yesterday, but it's becoming more frequent today.

My xbox is connected to my tv (Samsung) through an HDMI cord. I have checked the connection, jiggled it around a bit, and even replaced the cord, but at random points while playing games the screen will go dark and the tv will say "HDMI 1 No Signal"

If I hold down the power button to turn of the xbox, wait a few moments, and then turn it back on again it will be perfectly fine for about an hour or two before it starts doing this again.

What is wrong with the xbox? Both tv and xbox are not even a few weeks old.

    :)

My XBox has been having a lot of problems lately.

As the title says, my white XBox has been having some problems lately. Games have been randomly freezing, my controllers randomly stop responding in the middle of playing games, my Xbox is freezing, and I am losing connection to online games. What should
    I do?

  4. Xbox One S Randomly Losing Connection To TV

I've been having similar issues. What with my xbox not being detected by the tv or whatever, but a hard reset of the xbox will correct it for a couple hours.

Xbox is just no good anymore. The controllers barely last a week, whether you're super careful with them or not (not at all as durable as the 360 controllers which would keep for a couple years) and now this? My xbox is only about a month old and started
doing this crap. It's super frustrating, especially when you're in the middle of a game and it doesn't connect anymore.

It also says "turn this device on" when I try to reset the tv back to it's factory settings, so it's definitely something up with the xbox, which is ridiculous. Spent a lot of money on a piece of garbage it seems.

  5. Hi there.

Unfortunately, this does indicate that either the cable is going bad or the HDMI port is going bad on the console or TV.

We suggest testing the console on another TV to discern which device is the cause of the issue.

If the console does turn out to be the cause of the issue let's have you set up a repair with the
    chat team!

Let us know how that goes!

Serious External Hard Drive Issues for Xbox One

I have a western digital 1TB hard drive and I connected it to my Xbox one to play the movies that o had on it. Unfortunately,it randomly loses its connection to the Xbox one after random time intervals. I thought that this had to deal with the drove going
to sleep. Because initially it would lose connection after 30 minutes, which was the time that the sleep timer is set to by default. I went into the settings of the wd software that came with the drive and set the timer to never and saved the changes. This
worked for a short while, but now it randomly loses its connection right in the middle of a movie which is by far the most irritating thing. I assume it has to deal with the Xbox one OS because when I stream it from my surface with the hard drive it does not
    lose connection.

    Xbox live gone down

Are you losing connection randomly? When you lose connection if you set your Xbox to offline mode you should be able to play most of your games.

    No signal on TV

Hi, Praveen my name is Oskayra, and will be a pleasure help you

It's understandable that you're facing this issue with your Xbox One S console not displaying a signal on the TV in Japan. Here are some troubleshooting steps you can try to resolve the issue:

Check the HDMI cable connection: Ensure the HDMI cable is firmly connected to both the Xbox One S and the TV. Disconnect and reconnect both ends of the cable to ensure a secure connection.

Try a different HDMI cable: If possible, try using a different HDMI cable to rule out any issues with the original cable.

Change HDMI input on the TV: Check the TV's input settings and ensure that you are on the correct HDMI input port connected to the Xbox One S.

Power cycle the Xbox One S: Turn off the Xbox One S completely by holding the power button for about 10 seconds until the console shuts down. Unplug the power cord for 30 seconds, and then plug it back in and turn on the console.

Update the Xbox One S software: Ensure that the Xbox One S is running the latest software updates. Go to Settings > System > Updates and check for any available updates.

Try different HDMI ports on the TV: If your TV has multiple HDMI ports, try connecting the Xbox One S to a different HDMI port.

Check for TV compatibility issues: Check if your TV is compatible with the resolution and refresh rate settings of the Xbox One S. You can adjust these settings in the Xbox One S's video settings.

Try a different TV: If possible, try connecting the Xbox One S to a different TV to rule out any issues with your current TV.

I hope this helps! Don't hesitate to ask if you have any further questions or need additional clarification.
