Xbox one S randomly disconnecting from internet

As the title says, lately for the past few weeks my xbox one s has been randomly cutting its connection to the internet. It happens quick but long enough as to if im in an online game, like overwatch for example, the game will freeze and sometimes after
a few seconds things will start going again but other times i'll stay stuck and then i'll be kicked from the game, my xbox live party and then itll say I need to be connected to xbox live. After about half a minute, I can rejoin the game and or xbox live party
but its starting to do this at least once every other day. I recently switched to an Xbox one S in January and never had internet issues with my original xbox one. I am in the preview/insiders program but was in it with my original xbox one, which had no problems,
and was in it initially when i first started using my xbox one S. I don't use an external HD and have not changed my wireless settings or setup at all which is why its confusing this is suddenly happening. My only guess as to a reason is that I switched to
the new layout setting in the insiders/preview program around the same time I started having these issues. I've looked around online for tips and I can only find solutions such as restarting the xbox, unplugging the external HD, or used wired connection and
all of those are either not applicable or unnecessary since my wireless has been fine until recently. My last solution is maybe to leave the preview program and I was just hoping to find any other ideas before having to do that. FYI I am using xfinity home
internet, have no external HD connected, have had both my old and new xbox set up in the same place, have no new major devices using internet than before and it isn't just affecting games like overwatch, ill get randomly disconnecting while playing halo wars,
street fighter, and so on. Thanks for any help!

Xbox randomly disconnects from the internet

my xbox keeps on disconnecting from the internet randomly. Idk what to do

 

It has been 24 hours of xbox live disconnection problem

I don't think the disconnecting thing has to do with todays event. It was occurring 2 days ago.

And my internet before that was fine, have restarted router and tried fixing stuff, but nothing works to stop it from disconnecting randomly.

Sorry to hear about the random disconnects. Let's check a few things to narrow this down. Does the issue persist when using both wired or wireless network connections on the console?



Run a Detailed Network Statistics test on the Xbox One console and please provide the following information.

• Download Speed
• Upload Speed
• Latency
• Packet Loss %
• Wireless Strength (if applicable)
• Modem Manufacturer
• Router Manufacturer (if being used) as well as the model number
• NAT Type
