Xbox One S, Project Scoripo, and the Play Anywhere

At E3 mocrosfot announced the 2 new Xbox Ones and the new Play anywhere program.

    My questions are:

    1. Why buy the slim now when the new one comes out in a little over a year? Why not just save your money for the obviously better xbox?

    2. What is the point of having an Xbox one if all/most of the exclusives to xbox one will be able to play on Windows 10? Can't you just buy the game you want off of the website so you get copies for the xbox and Windows 10 and then only play it on Windows
10? I could just sell my Xbox one and spend the money on a more powerful computer that will run the games better and faster and use the PC for other games.

To me Microsoft is killing itself in an xbox way. Now they will end up making a lot more money for doing this, so PC gamers can play the games but they are dumping the Xbox gamers who only play on Xbox. There is no reason to own an xbox and a PC now. Just
stay on PC and then you can play the exclusives that would only be on Xbox One

    :)

microsoft specs for best tv to use with scoripo

Haas microsoft listed anywhere what tv is best for the new xbox x or scoripo? There are so many terms, 4k, hd, hdr, oled, led, etc... also some sites talk about hgz. I am lost as what to look for when buying a new tv for my scoripo as I only have a 10 year
    old 1080

    1. There's no point really into getting the Scorpio when you don't have a 4k tv/monitor. Also the Scorpio will be a lot more expensive than the Xbox One S.

    2. You could but you won't be able to play the other games that are not available for the PC like Halo for example.

I'm sure there are reasons why people would want both platforms and why some would only like one of them. I like the Idea of having both my games on the Xbox One and on PC so that if I wanna play with my friends who have an Xbox One I can do so on my console
(not all games support cross platform multiplayer, just co-op)

If you can wait, I agree you should. The Scorpio is a lot better. But I also feel its going to be a lot more expensive then the One or One S. Think of it as the Elite of Elite of Xbox One. When I saw the trailer, it felt they were going to make this for
the hardcore gamer that is willing to drop the extra cash. Think of it like the Elite controller.

There is no point. If you have a powerful PC then you should use it, you would actually get better graphics on Forza Horizon 3 on PC. There is a chance that some game may not be Play anywhere, but there are other options once you move on PC.

You would still need an Xbox Live. And with discounts and promotions, MS rarely make money from the sale of console itself. By merging the Windows and Xbox space it has increased the sale opportunity and that in terms means more dollar. There are a lot
of service that already exist on the PC space. Microsoft is simply doing what has been done by other game service providers.

    Xbox games

They will still make games for Xbox One family and with the Project xCloud even if you have a One S they will make a way so you will be able to play new games.

Can a xbox one s play PC version games?

The short answer is no. You can not play a PC version of a game on the Xbox One S. You need the Xbox One version of the game to play on the Xbox One. There are lots of games that are on both PC and Xbox One, and some are

    play anywhere
