xbox one s problems with starting games

Hi Diego, happy new year and thanks for the reply. The 2nd step (the reset) I have already done it in fact I was sure now to have a full memory. I'll let you know for the 1st tip.

If you haven't already, I would suggest preforming a rest to your console (Reset and keep my games & apps.). This will reset the operating system of your console and help removing any corrupted data.

If this does not fix the issue, it might be a hardware issue. You will need to get it repaired.

Thank you for posting on the Xbox forums. I'd be happy to help troubleshoot the issue.

While the Xbox is on, go ahead and do a hard
restart and power cycle to the console. Hold down the power button on the console for about 10 seconds or until it shuts down. Once the Xbox is off, remove the power cable from the Xbox and the power outlet for about 5 minutes. Then re-connect and
wait 60 seconds before turning on the Xbox. Holding down the power button on the console to force a shutdown is an important step.

If that doesn't help then you will need to try out a soft factory reset.

1. Press the Xbox button on the controller to open the guide.
2. Scroll to the right and select System > Settings > System > Console info.
3. Select Reset console.

Make sure to select "Keep my games & apps" and have the correct account login information plus your Wi-Fi password ready if you connect wireless because you will need to re-add the accounts that were on the Xbox and re-connect to your network during the
reset.

Give the complete power cycle and the soft factory reset a try and let us know how it goes!

I had a similar problem recently. For some reason when I started my console I couldn't maunch any game. Error said "game took too long to start" and I had to close the game.

I've reset my console to factory settings, keeping games and apps installed. Worked for a day.

What seemed to work though was change my settings from instant on to full energy saving in the Power Mode and Startup section of the settings. If your console is on instant on, can you try this method and tell us if this solved your issue?

If not then I suppose support will be able to help.
