XBOX ONE S problem

When I insert a game disc, my console turns off. About 1 minute after I eject the disc, the console turns back on. Digital games will not load. Everything was working fine yesterday morning, but when I tried to play 4 hours later, no go. Anyone have any
hints, other than a factory reset? I'm pretty sure it's caused by console update not installing properly, since this happened last year about the same time.

Sign in issue

Same problem here. Xbox one S. My black xbox one signs in just fine. Gone through networking troubleshooting, and everything points to the XB one S.

 

power saving mode boot question

Microsoft rep had me plug directly in the wall and the system boots normal. I previously had the Xbox One S plug into the monster surge protector strip with my TV. That was the problem. Microsoft rep told me that the Xbox Box One S has a built in surge protector.
I going to use the Xbox One S today and if the problem does not return I will keep the Xbox One S. The Microsoft rep told me to exchange if the problem does return. Thank you for the help.

 

Try a power cycle by holding down the power button for 10 seconds or until restart.

The boot up will take a bit longer.
