Xbox One S problem with wired connection

Hello guys, i've been having problems with a wired connection with my one s, what happens is when i turn the One S on

i get signed in (sometimes it wont sign me in at all) and after 10 to 15 seconds i get disconnected from live and my profile

signs off and i cant get back online unless i do a hard reset.

I have noticed that this only happens with a wired connection, (wi-fi works fine), i did reset the console but i get the same problem.

This only happens with the One S, the old xbox one works fine.

System Update Error

Just purchase an Xbox One s and theirs a problem with the system update. there's a error code: 0x80072ee2 0x00000000 0x00000200. I have no idea what's the problem I tried wired connection and WiFi it still will on update

 

My brand new Xbox can't connect to the internet

Just an S a couple days after christmas. Wire connection and it will not recognize wired connection after initial setup update. Switched back in the old xbox one and it works fine. old xbox even connects wirelessly with no problems. took my S over a family
members house and it connected no problem. I don't get it either.

Sorry to read about the connection trouble! Do you possibly have a second Ethernet cable you can test with your Xbox One S to see if there's any change? Let us know

 

i have the same problem. it has been since the last console update.

 

I'm having the same problem as the OP; it's getting annoying.

 

Same problem here. Wired Ethernet connection, instant on settings, and every now and then when I turn on the Xbox, it doesn't recognize the internet even thought the internet is fine and working on other devices. I'm guessing this
has to do with an update and having a wired/instant on setting combo. Plese fix in future update asap. Thank you!
