Xbox one s problem with headset and controller.

Am having problem with my Xbox one s controller, every time I go to put my headphone adapter in it's a bit of a struggle and finally when it goes in and I put my headphones in its just a vibrating sound i hear and when I go from page to page it makes a big
horrible annoying sound but when I put it back in to my Xbox one controller it's fine and makes the sound what you normally here when you go from page to page. Any help would be appreciate.

Xbox One S Controller not working with headset adapter for Turtle beach XOFour Headset.

I just recently got an xbox one S to replace broken xbox one, and the original controller I used with my XO Four Headset (Turtle Beach) and the official xbox headset adapter. I thought my new S controller would just be a case of plug and play after the console
and controller was done updating, I could hear my friends in party chat but i have been unable to talk using my S Controller. Do I need a new headset adapter or is there something else wrong?

Headset only working with USB connection to controller?

Been driving me mad, using a 3.5mm Turtle Beach headset and it was working fine up until 3 weeks ago. Now the headset will only work when the controller is connected to the Xbox with a USB cable.

Tried different controllers - same problem, even same problem with different headsets.

The Xbox is fully up to date and the controller(s) have the latest firmware.

Anyone got any idea what the problem could be?

Hey FooFooNeverCame! is the adapter fully inserted to the S controller or are there gaps? Post back and let me know!

It also doesn't work with my xbox one s controller. Also there is no sound from it to my headset is the problem.

Sorry to hear you are running into this problem, If you have not already checked the controller go ahead and make sure that the

Controller is Updated. Also, what headset is it that you are using for the console? Would these be third party headsets or are they the Xbox Stereo Headset.

Let us know.

Could be an issue with the headset. Perhaps try a different one?

I have an Xbox 1 s and a wired headset but my controller is a series s controller. I have tried with a different controller which is an Xbox 1 controller and it fixed the problem. However that isn’t my controller so I still have the same problem.

Hi Microsoft Agent,

I'm having the same problem, we have an Xbox one S, we have now purchased 2 headsets thinking the first was faulty. Both headsets work on a friends xbox. We then purchased a new controller believing ours was faulty, but still no joy. We are using Xbox One
Wireless Controller 3.5mm white. We have borrowed a friends controller and the headsets work straight away on our box.
