Xbox One s problem connecting to Wireless Controller after last update

My Wireless Controller was working 100% till I did the update of last weekend.

Now i'm only able to get my controller, work when connecting by wire.

I did a Xbox one reset (All games and apps and settings) today and the controller worked again, but then during the setup sequence, it downloaded an update.

Xbox One S restarted and gave the animation of the controller, so you can connect it, but this time it didn't work.

After using the usb cable the controller could be used again and I could finish the setup.

for anyone with controller issues, this popped up in tonight's preview update.
A fix to address an issue for users who find their controller will no longer connect via a wireless connection, and only works over USB. If this has occurred to you, after taking this system update, you will be able to connect your controller via a USB cable and wait a few seconds before unplugging it. This will recover your controller and you will be able to connect wirelessly. It is expected that subsequent controller firmware updates will fail. This will be addressed in a later system update.

 

How to Configure and test your Xbox 360 wireless Internet connection

After you have connected the Xbox 360 Wireless Connecting Adapter to your original Xbox 360 console, you have to configure and test the wireless connection.

Steps to Follow

1. On your controller, press the Guide button and proceed to Settings, then choose System Settings.

2. Go to Network Settings then select the name of your wireless network.

Note: If you do not find your wireless network, go to Advanced Options and then select Specify Unlisted Network. Proceed to enter the name of your wireless network, after which you will be asked to select the security type.

3. Enter your wireless network password.

4. You will get a prompt to update your console software. Select Yes.

Same, my just becomes non responsive after a few minutes and the Home button won't do anything anymore

Xbox One Wireless Controller disconnects or can't connect.

 

I tried everything already in that guide.

My Xbox One S controller is running firmware 3.1.1215.0.

I can't tell if is it the controller or is it the Xbox One S.

My feeling says it is cause by the Xbox One S update of last weekend, cause it was working before.

And also, i did a hard reset and like i wrote before the controller was working wireless, till during the setup it did an update and a restart. After this i could not connect the controller wirelles anymore.
