Xbox One S Powersupply is Always On?

i have a question

I noticed that even when i do a full shut down with instant on OFF if im rly close to it like couple cm away i can hear the powersupply make noise kinda like clicking or buzzing?

I was told its because the psu is always on because current is still going through it incase u turn it on with controller for example.

But no matter what shut down i do even a full one i can hear it when im rly close to it its not loud u have to almost touch it to hear it but is this a normal psu?

Console Make Noise when Fully OFF -Does Yours?

Can anyone check to see if their Xbox one S when its off make any noise you have to be almost touching it to hear it and in silent room bybthe powersupply area ill hear a constant ticking/buzzing even when fully shut down

Before i go exchange it i want to make sure if its normal or not of its normal ill keep it..

I keep hearing diff stories that it is but i want to conform it

Is it because the powersupply is always on unless unplugged?

Have you checked if you're plugging the HDMI cable into the HDMI-OUT port on the back of the console ?

Have you checked the light on the powersupply and if so which color is it ?

Do you have any surge protectors or extensioncords in between the Xbox One and the powersupply ?

 

Erm.........................why are you putting your ear so close to a power supply that its touching it?

well not that close maybe like a cm away from the vent holes at the back i can hear clicking noises from powersupply when its fully turned off is it normal?
