Xbox One S powering on but not starting up

TL;DR: XBOX TURNS ON FOR TWO MINUTES THEN TURNS OFF WITH A DISC EJECTION SOUND.

I've ran into a problem with my Xbox One S System. When I turn it on the Xbox turns on as "normal" but then nothing comes up on my monitor and my controller doesn't want to connect to the Xbox one. It simply refuses to do so. Anyway, my Xbox turns on for
about 2 minutes (with no display showing up) and then immediately powers off and does a disc eject sound. Has anyone actually experienced this & found a solution?? I was legit on a loading screen for ten minutes and decided to restart my Xbox cause it normally
fixes my issues. Edit 1: I also want to add that I called up Xbox support and the woman just asked me to try the Xbox through a wall outlet and I had the same problem (No difference) and then she basically tried to get me to spend money on another Xbox or
a replacement & I can't do either of those now.

I've requested a power supply be sent to me through the Xbox service page but I doubt they're gonna send me a power supply for the One S and expect me to do the tech work on replacing the old one for the new one. Has anyone experienced my issue?

    :)

I don't really think you have any choice if the xbox is out of warranty
Well I could either pay $284 for a replaced system but it's not worth it cos that's pretty much the price of a brand new system anyway. I've established that I could probably just get the series X when it comes out anyway but in the meantime I'll be loaning
    a console from a friend.

    Have you tried this:

    1. Power off your console, and then unplug the power cord to ensure that the console is completely powered off.

    2. Wait 30 seconds, then plug the power cord back in.

    3. Press and hold the BIND (controller sync button located on the left side of the console or bottom right if a one S or one X) and the EJECT button and then just press the Xbox button on the console once.

    4. Continue holding the BIND and EJECT buttons for 10-15 seconds.

    5. Listen for two “power-up” tones a couple of seconds apart. You can release the BIND and EJECT buttons after the second power-up tone.

    6. The console should power up and take you directly to the Xbox Startup Troubleshooter.

    7. To reset your console from the Xbox Startup Troubleshooter, use the D-pad and A button on your controller to select Reset this Xbox.

    9. When prompted, select Keep games and apps. This option will reset the OS and delete all potentially corrupted data without deleting your games or apps.

Sorry to hear it. Have you tried forcing a reset on the console? Powercycle the console by holding the power button on it for 10 seconds till it shuts down.

Then hold the Sync + Eject buttons at the same time and then turn on the console. Keep holding the Sync + Eject buttons until you hear the second start up tone. This will bring you back to the original set up with an option to keep your games and apps
    installed.

If you still have trouble after that then you may need to set up a repair of the console. You can do this at
https://devicesupport.microsoft.com. Once set up and you have received your shipping label via email you can pack up the console.

Please be sure to only send the console and nothing else as Xbox does not guarantee that extra items such as cables or controllers will be returned.
Hi. Thanks for your reply - I don't think I can do a reset like that because I don't get a display when the Xbox does turn on for the minute or so.

I also don't have the funds to put in my console for replacement and I'm pretty sure it is ineligible for a replacement because the console has been taken apart before and the back isn't clipped in place properly.

I can still try your method and get back to you.

FOLLOW UP: I Can't do the reset method you've suggested.

I suggest backing up from a windows computer and then sending it for repair at a gamestop or something
