    Xbox one s power up issues


    Xbox one S , christmas present. was working fine for first 6 days. was working fine earlier in the day.

    I went to get on tonight, pushed power button on console, it lights up for a few seconds, then turns off. does not get to any type of bootup screen.

    What I have tried......

    Independent power supply to xbox (without using a gfi, it is plugged straight into outlet with nothing else on circuit)

    I have unplugged for 10 second, 30 second, 1 effing hour, then plugged back in, same thing.

    Tried holding the bind and eject button then the power button, nothing.

    now, any suggestions.... other than burn, drop kick, shred?

    Xbox one S power voltage from Canada? (100-220?) Will be out of country.

    IS the built in power supply for the new xbox one S from 100-220? will I have to use my power converter? I know the PS4 has no issues, and I really hope the new xbox 1 s works as well.

    My issue with the xbox one switching stuff on, is I can only control the amp and the tv. There's no enough options to get it to power up the TiVo too.

    Hello,

    I have tried all the troubleshooting steps that are available with no success. As said, i can eventually get the device on and working and when it does, there are no issues whilst its on.

    What would the cost of the repair? Or at least the initial costs?

    One S will not stay in Instant On power mode

    Sorry to hear the issue popped back up! How is your Xbox One connected to power? If it's connected to a surge protector, please ensure your console is powered off try a direct connection to the wall outlet and then set the Xbox One S back up to 'Instant
    On'.

    Hi, I hope you're doing great out there despite the issue that you're experiencing. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regards to your concern.

    It means that the external hard drive is corrupted, you will be needing to reformat the hard drive for it to work.
