Xbox one s power problem

my xbox one s keeps shutting off and wont stay on for no more than 5 mins help???

The Xbox one s and one x have a problem with there power button if you unplug your console and hold the power 30 seconds it should fix it.

Is the console plugged in directly to the wall or do you have it on a power strip? If it's not direct into the wall, plug it in direct into the wall.

Is it in a well ventilated area?

I tried that but when i press reset this xbox it powers off then when it powers back on it returns to the same screen.

I just got a new power cord from amazon cause i couldnt find the old one i will plug it into the wall and see if that helps thanks
