    Xbox One S Power Light Blinks Once, Then Off, Won't Turn On


    Greetings,

    I have an X Box One S console. It's about four years old. Use it almost every day. Many hours each day. Yesterday I tried turning it on. The power light blinks once, makes one beep, and that's it! Seems to me it might be the internal power supply. The strange
    thing is that it makes the one beep and blink. So some power is coming into the console.

    Any ideas? I might have to take it to a console repair place here in Puerto Rico. Not too many available, though.

    Thanks for reaching out! Sounds like your troubleshooting your
    Power Supply for the Xbox One    .

    • The Power supply LED on your power supply, Is the unit light still on, or has it turned off or started blinking? The color white/amber will happen when it filters the power in the surge protector.
    • When troubleshooting take a look at the LED light, does it stay solid or blink (light turns off and on)?

    No its not fast. It blinks slow like it usually does before it powers off but instead of blinking once or twice like normal it just keeps going.

    I should add too that the controller light stays on and connected too. It wont turn off either. I’ve tried the go-to hard reset as well and it didn’t fix the issue.
