Xbox one s Power cord and supply

As far as I know, depending on the power cord itself, if it's just the cord (so not the power supply) you might find a matching one at an electronics store. As long as it meeds the power requirements for the console (and it fits the slot) the cord should
be fine.

If it's also the power supply (only came with the original Xbox One console, both S and X have an internal power supply) then contacting Xbox Support is the best option to order a new power supply.

The Xbox One S does not require a power supply, or power brick, the power supply for the Xbox One S is on the inside. It seems like what you need is just a new cord. Am I right or did I misunderstand?

Let´s first try resetting the power supply

Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One X, and Xbox One S have an internal power supply that works in all regions worldwide. If your console won't turn on, it may simply need a power reset. Often, power issues are due to the power supply resetting after a power surge.

To reset the internal power supply, follow these steps:

Unplug the power cord from the console.

Wait 10 seconds.

Plug the cord back into the console, and then press the Xbox button  on the front of the console.

Also, was there any power outage that you know of when you left?

Is the one that has a big/chunky Power supply? If its that one, is the original.

Maybe the console is malfunctioning or maybe the power supply.

If the console you have does not have a chunky power supply but only a cord to the console, I would tell you to trying to connect another power cord to it to check that is not the issue (is an standard type of cord).

But looking at what is happening, I would send the console to Microsoft to be fixed (or check a cheap Xbox One S/All digital , as they can be cheaper or better solution money wise than sending to fix the original Xbox One).
