    Xbox One S Power But Not Booting


    Yesterday I started having issues with my One S. When I press the power button it lights up and I get the starting jingle. I can also see inside the vent that the fan starts to spin. However, after half a rotation, the fan stops, there is a single click
    noise, the power button light goes off and the console does nothing else. No green screen, no black screen. The console isn't even on. If I press the eject button, I still get the eject sound, so the console still clearly has power. I've left it powered off
    and unplugged overnight, but that hasn't resolved it. Disconnecting all accessories hasn't helped either. I've tried connecting it to different powerpoints, this also hasn't helped.

    The only search results I've found online are regarding the One and its power brick. But being a One S, there is no external power brick to check. The device still has power, as evidenced by the eject sound, the power sound and temporary light. It just
    doesn't seem to be initialising the boot process after the initial burst of power.

    I've attempted to do the USB recovery to reset the system. But the process doesn't work. After holding bind and eject for more than 15s, I don't get any additional startup chimes. It just does exactly the same as above. It appears that the console shuts
    down and doesn't receive the command from holding down the buttons as it isn't on long enough.

    I really, really want to get this resolved without sending it away. I've sent consoles in last gen and it was a two-week turnaround. I'm just starting a week off work next week and my wife and I were planning a big gaming binge together. There won't be much
    online co-op with only one working console. So I'd really like to figure this out ASAP and without having to send it away.

    May I recommend following the steps outlined in "Your Xbox One console won't turn on", for either the Xbox One or One S. Let us know if you continue to have
    problems booting up your Xbox.

    E203 Unexpected error

    Seeing an "Unexpected error" message while booting up xbox one.

    It gathers info about the error, bar reach 100% but nothing happens after that.

    Error Code : - E203 0000080C 80070570

    Power cycling the xbox one didn't help either.

    Does the Xbox Series X/S work worldwide region free without any specific extra requirements?

    Okay so just replace the power cord that plugs into the power spot of the console with my previous Xbox One s cord and I should be good to boot it up?

    Sorry I'm just trying to make sure I understand.

    As long as it's not an Xbox One S All Digital edition, you can try this (which you may have done and referenced as "low res boot"):

    1. Power down your Xbox One by holding the power button on the console for 20 seconds.
    2. Press and hold both the disc eject button and the power button at the same time for 20 seconds.

    It's an Xbox one S and no it doesn't display on my screen at all. It is plugged directly into the wall with no extensions or power cables. I did the boot-up method you wrote down more than once and still no luck.
