    Xbox one s plastic shell popping/cracking sound


    After playing if i went to wipe the console the plastic makes a clicking/popping/cracking sound sometimes even by itself or when you push a little the side vents.Is this normal?Even hours after i stopped playing it still does this.

    is your xbox on instant-on mode? that may be the noise you're hearing.

    Probably because of the heat the plastic dilates a bit, when it cools it can make that noise, but I think that regardless of this the plastic freaks some noise naturally.

    I actually also wanted to ask to make sure that it's normal to hear some minor popping/cracking sound from the Xbox when you turn it on/off due to the plastic/metal heating or cooling and expanding/contracting.
