    Xbox One s partially turning on by itself.


    My Xbox One S in alpha skip-ahead in the last few weeks has started to randomly turn on by itself after being shut down.

    The energy saving start up mode is enabled, and a few minutes, sometimes even hours after being shut off the vent and hdd start up on its own with no video output and without turning on the controller or the light button; the console then doesn't turn without doing a full power cycle.

    I already reported the issue a few times in the insider hub.

    Hey there La Selecta 21,

    It's very possible the console was going through some updates. Is your console plugged into a wall outlet directly, or into a surge protector/power strip?

    Mine will occasionally do this, mostly when I'm about to sleep. I just power it off or leave it alone.
    Do you have it on energy saving or instant on?

    Mine does this on occasion. The only solution I know of to stop it is by unplugging it after I get off.

    But it happens so rarely that it's not an issue for me.
    Yours comes on but doesn't light up in the front or send a pictureto the tv?

    Mine does this on occasion. The only solution I know of to stop it is by unplugging it after I get off.

    But it happens so rarely that it's not an issue for me.
