It could be a failure in some internal component, or even in the PSU.

Tip: avoid placing any object on top of the Xbox, try to leave it in an airy place. +

- Turn on the Xbox, press and hold the Xbox button for 10 seconds to turn off the console;
- Disconnect all cables, wait 10 minutes;
- Reconnect all cables and turn it back on;
- Test in another wall socket;
- If you have a friend who has an Xbox One S, try using the PSU from their console;

If it doesn't solve it, and the console still won't start, it's best to open a service request to fix your Xbox one S.

Its an Xbox One S disc edition, when i power it on all i get is an orange light on the console, the power supply is built in.

no image on screen, i have tested different cables, sockets and monitors with no luck,

I have also tried to replace the HDD with an SSD and hard reset the xbox by holding eject and bind buttons, but still no image

ive tried an offline system update and a factory reset usb file, it looking like main board issues

Are you talking about the xbox logo startup sound?? If so try a google search with "xbox startup sound mp3" I found numerous results...

Ok.because on the screen says as you can see that its for xbox 360.but on the right side down there is xbox x/s and xbox one logo.
