    How do I get my Xbox to play DVDs at a proper resolution? How is it that this "ultimate gaming console" is outperformed by a DVD player from 2005? I am using the Blu-ray Player app, which apparently doesn't even have settings. There is no other app in
    the store that plays DVDs.

    I can't help but be completely baffled by this nonsense. My ten year old 360 even does a better job.

    Hello!

    Thanks for reaching out to us here on the forums with this situation. I understand that you're having trouble using an Xbox One S to play DVD's. There should be settings in the Blu-ray app to determine what Resolution to watch the content in. Have you tried
    uninstalling and reinstalling the Blu-ray app itself? Give it a try and let us know with a reply how it goes.
