Xbox one s on and off and no signal on my tv

I have had the same issue on my sharp aquos. The issue seems to be related to xbox one controlling the signal to the tv when you allow one guide to power the tv off and on through hdmi signal. I deselected this and it has fixed the issue. This has to be
a signal coding issue with the xbox one. My ps4 and we work just fine turning the tv off and on and allowing video and sound. Hopefully xbox looks into this

How you fix your problem is quite simple sometimes people put the HDMI lead in the wrong port on the back of their console so I strongly advise you to try both ports or even turning the cable the other way (from your TV to your console) vice versa please

Also when my Xbox turns off it makes a weird sound that I have never heard before.

Every time I turn it on, I can hear the fan start to run and then it stops, but then it starts slowly while my TV still says no signal then my Xbox turns off. I would really want to play Xbox tonight and tomorrow.

How do I fix it because I miss playing with my friends

i know how you feel I had an issue when the newest update rolled out recently causing HDMI signal issues. I spent 30-40 minutes fixing it via changing which slot I used on my TV, to do a soft reset on my console. I don't know what made a difference tbh, but
one of these seem to help as I slowly regained picture and eventually sound.
