Xbox One S not starting up (Black Screen)

Update: Screen went black, I think Xbox auto shut off. When I turned it back on It looks as though it was starting up normally but now it's stuck on the Xbox One start up screen.

Power off your console, and then unplug the power cord to ensure that the console is completely powered off. Wait 30 seconds, and then plug the power cord back in. Press and hold the SYNC button and the EJECT button, and then press the Xbox button on the console. Continue holding the SYNC and EJECT buttons for 10-15 seconds. Listen for two “power-up” tones a couple of seconds apart. You can release the SYNC and EJECT buttons after the second power-up tone. The console should power up and take you directly to the Xbox Startup Troubleshooter.

Please select reset then keep games and apps. No worries, no games will be removed, just sign back in using the right account.

come back off holiday plugged my xbox one in it starts the green screen and then go,s black i can hear it working but it does not bring up main screen to sign in. i have tryed to hard reset it and taking out the power supply but still no joy please can anybody

I have the same problem with my Xbox One. tried a cold boot but start screen comes up then just goes to black screen help

I'm now experiencing what appears to be the same issue as Terrell Watson. My xbox had started behaving glitchy and slow for the past week or so. Then today at start up my Xbox One was stuck at the green loading screen for 10 plus minutes before the screen
went black. My Xbox One then hung on a blank black screen forever sometimes displaying an icon for a few seconds before going completely black again.
