    Xbox One S not reaching any wifi signals


    Hey dudes, just as may tittle indicated.

    Downloaded the latest update and now I cannot connect to Wifi at all. Nothing pops up when I click search and nothing pops up when I do a manual input of my network.

    Tried doing a service request and it leads me no where.

    Already reset everything and got me nowhere as well. What is going on?

    Xbox one s, signing me out and not connecting to wifi

    Hello everyone, I'm having trouble with an Xbox one s I purchased a few days ago, everything was great with it until possibly yesterday as it took longer than normal to connect to the WiFi signal and today it keeps signing me out as soon as I sign
    in plus it's not finding any WiFi signals. It will keep my girlfriends account signed in while she is signed in, it will find the WiFi signals but won't connect then tells me to reboot the router, which I have done. Is this a problem that can be fixed?

    If your headset is on a fixed frequency it will stop the router's signal reaching your xbox. Go onto your router's settings and change your wifi frequency and/or channel.

    What specifically would allow the Xbox 360 Wireless Networking Adapter to connect while the built-in wifi would not?

    My Xbox 360 S detects a wireless signal with 4 bars, and I am testing it while sitting it right next to the modem, so there is no issue with signal strength.

    My Xbox 360 S's built-in wifi is able to connect to a hotspot, and it is even able to connect to my neighbor's wifi from my house.

    5ghz signals are known to reach shorter distances. So now I know you're using wifi, you need to close that gap or rather extend the reach. A wifi extender will help with that or a mesh system as mentioned before.
    Distance and the more walls the signal has to go through effect wifi strength.

    You won't get a better signal with an old adapter on the Xbox 360 S - the internal wifi adapter is good. :)

    Try using an ethernet connection from your router to your xbox.

    WiFi signal can be knocked out by a lot of different factors and it would rule out any wifi signal issues.
