    Xbox One S Not Powering On


    xbox one s console:

    3 months old, (not aging issue)

    put in a well ventilated area as instructed, (not venting issue)

    used maybe twice a week for a short period of time (not overheating issue)

    What i've tryd:

    unplugging it, along with all cables like power and hdmi

    plugging into wall and extension cord

    going to my cousins house and trying his power.. i dont know why

    What hasn't worked:

    ALL OF THE ABOVE... thanks for the support microsoft btw.. 3 people all saying "unplug it" - "oh thats not working? well im not sure what to tell you then" really microsoft!?

    Xbox One S not powering on.

    So I got a 2TB Xbox One S on launch back in August. Up until now it worked fine minus a beeping and clicking noise from time to time that support said was normal, but just yesterday (Christmas of all days) it powered itself off and will not turn back on,
    it doesn't even make the beeping noise when I hit the power button. I searched the problem and tried the solutions (basically power cycling) but it still won't work. Anyone know what could be causing this? I'm guessing I have to send it in to be serviced.

    XBox One S not powering on

    got my S on release day. Played maybe 90 minutes that night and shut it off. Played yesterday for about 1 hour and it turns off by itself. I assumed it was too hot so I moved it to a more open space. I go to turn it on today and it powers on then right off
    immediately. Anyone else having this issue?

    Which Xbox do you have, Xbox 360, Xbox One, Xbox One S, Xbox One X or Xbox Series X or S? Not all of them are multi-voltage. The Xbox 360 and Xbox One will need either a power converter or a power supply for your region. As for the Xbox One S, Xbox One X and Series X or S, they are multi-voltage, and should work fine with the correct power cable.

    Is your Xbox an Xbox One or One S? The reason I ask is because the power button on the One is capacitive, whereas the power button on the One S is mechanical.

    Is it a 360 or an Xbox One S? If it is an Xbox One S, then you should be fine withe a power plug adapter.

    The Xbox One S is multi voltage so you can use any "figure of 8" power cord with a Xbox One S as long as it matches the power outlets of your country.
