    Xbox one s not powering on and making clicking noise


    My xbox one s won't turn on at all no power button lighting up or power up noise and it just clicks it's around the fan area but I've checked the fan and it's fine has this happened to anyone else?



    If it has how did you fix it and are there any tips to help?

    What kind of sound?,this is actually normal,i got a xbox one S too and make like a little click sounds when is off(with the insta on off),i'm aware all the xbox one "S" make this particular noise,so if your hardware runs ok you should be not be worry about

    it was coming from the hard drive. i did an internet seach and the clicking noise was similar to the "hard drive click of death". A failing hard drive.

    My cousin's xbox one S made the same clicking noise with no beep, the clicking in his xbox was coming from the fan

    • Is the console in a well-ventilated area?
