Xbox one s not playing 4K blurays

hi everyone. So I got a new 4K Lg 65UH7700 and an Xbox one s. I was very excited to start watching 4K blurays but unfortunately they are not working on the Xbox. I am getting an error that says the tv is not hdcp complian. I get the same issue with a regular
bluray as well. I checked the specs of the tv and manufacturer says the tv is hdcp 2.2 compliant. Not sure what is going on here. I also disabled 4K and it didn't help either. Someone please help!

Displaying Netflix in 24hz on XBOX ONE S

Hi,

I would like to ask if anyone was successfully able to display Netflix on an XBOX ONE S in 24hz.

My XBOX ONE S converts 24hz to 60hz when watching netflix.

Playing UHD disks works fine and they display in 4K, HDR and in 24hz.

Also standard Full HD blurays display in 24hz.

Only Netflix displays in 4K, HDR but converted to 60hz.

Your help or advice is much appreciated!

3D Blu-ray movies no longer play in 3D mode

I had a similar problem with 3d with my lg 4k tv and an Xbox one s. Changing the 4k setting on the Xbox to 8-bit worked for me to watch 3d blurays. I could change it back to 10 or 12 bit to watch non 3d discs.

Hi please try and carry out a software update on the TV and if you are not using the HDMI cable supplied with the console please swap the cable for the one supplied with the console.

 

Tv is up to date with the latest firmware and I have also tried different cables. Did not work.

Sometimes TV's only have one or two compliant inputs - make sure the one you are using is the HDCP 2.2 compliant one. Also do you use an AV receiver?

 

I tested all ports and nothing. I have a regular full HD av receiver which works but only getting 1080p. I tested another xbox one that is not the one s and that worked. TV specs say hdcp 2.2 is supported.

 

If the AV Reciever doesn't support 4k pass through that'll be the problem or if the AV receiver isn't HDCP 2.2 compliant. Try connecting the One S directly to the TV's input

 

I don't use the av receiver. I always had it directly to the tv.

 

I am having this same issue. Got the system set up on Wednesday, watched a 4k blu ray without issue thursday, went to watch one today and now none of my 4k blu-rays work. I have an LG OLED B6, on the list of compatible displays and have tried switching cables
and ports for the hdmi, although all of the ports on my tv are compliant and compatible. Very frustrated that things were working on thursday and now they don't work.

 

So I decided to exchange the system and got another. Now it works!! So I guess some systems have faulty HDMI ports or something.

 

Seems odd that mine would work and then magically stop working like that. I will give it a few days before I look into returning things.

 

Well, I tried factory resetting my TV and still no luck. So I am not sure if this was an issue with an MS update pushed or something else? Still very frustrating.

 

So I am getting the same issue as the original poster my Xbox One S does upscale my games and everything works pretty good but I cannot get my UHD blu rays to display in 4K resolution. I am faced with this issue 0x91d7000a. It mentioned something about
hdcp compliancy, my television is hdcp 2.2 compliant on all 4 HDMI ports.
