    XBOX ONE S not inserting discs


    Recently I had a power outage. After everything came back to normal my XBOX started to try ejecting disk randomly when playing games etc. The problem is the fact that I searched every box of the games I didn't buy digitally and every game was in its box.
    I tried to do the manual eject but nothing ejects from the disc casket. After I turned on the XBOX on the console still tried to eject something. I decided to take one of my games and try to put it into the disc reader. The disc seemed like it was blocked
    by something. XBOX again started trying to eject something (probably the disc I tried to enter) but this time after couple of seconds it tried to eject it intensifier. Can someone know what can be blocking the disc?

    If your Xbox One has a disc Drive (Xbox One S Digital Edition does not), then yes you can insert the disc and install the game and play it on the Xbox One.

    Have you tried to insert the disc on a different Xbox One console or Xbox Series X|S console to test if it will work?

    If your other Xbox One is the All Digital Xbox One S, then yes you will need to purchase the digital version of the game to play it on there. If is an Xbox One with a disc drive in it, then just insert the disc and you should be able to install and play
    fine.

    As a console gamer, I've inserted and ejected discs hundreds of times across my Xbox consoles (Xbox 360, Xbox One S, Xbox One X, and Xbox Series X), and to this day, I've never had any issues with them.

    Constantly inserting and ejecting discs is considered normal usage for a console, so it should have no impact on the state of your console's disc drive.
