Xbox One S = NOT FAIR FOR DAY ONE BUYERS

OP and ElectorFlying should get married. Because they make a good married couple. They say thing that does not make a lick of sense,. I would like to get the S for playing my dad's since he doesn't have a 4kTV. But I going get PS for a home console. But
that my thinking right now.

 

You have had a 3 year start and great games to play. Your complaint cant be taken seriously.

 

I went to the midnight launch of Xbox 1 in November 2013 in NZ and have the Day 1 Edition with Kinect.

I see no point in getting the slim, when next year Microsoft will be releasing a significantly more powerful Xbox Scorpio console.

The Xbox 1 S may have some problems I don't like. Firstly, it only has tiny pen sized holes like early Xbox 360 models. It doesn't have good ventilation and wide ventilation wholes which the original Xbox 1 console has, especially when they crammed an internal
power brick inside it. It also doesn't have a Kinect port either, you have to pay extra for a Kinect adaptor.

But I see why peeps may rush into buying it. It's much slimmer, it can stand upright, and it's in white not boring black. But it's been almost 36 months since Xbox 1 launched, and it took them this long to launch a slim version. I saw that the S model has
a front USB port now which is much more convenient than a side port.

Yes you could wait, but not all of us may want to wait when the time of our life in precious. The Xbox 1 is more at risk of overheating and weaker air flow and ventilation, than the original Xbox 1 is.

 

I can understand your frustration because that's the way a lot of businesses work. But with the XB1 it's a bit different. For example, I've had my Directv system for going on 17 years now. From the beginning I had the NFL Sunday ticket. And over the
years as the new seasons approach I would see new DTv users get offered NFL ST for free or nearly next to nothing. While year after year my price keeps going up and up. But that's a service. The XB1 is hardware, and hardware improves over time. I remember
when PC's were obsolete almost by the time you got them home, and it got to a point where I said, what I've got now is good enough. But its been three years. Tech will improve massively over that time. If it weren't for Diablo I would certainly be upgrading
my XB1 now, but now I'm not so sure. I will say this. Day one launch hardware peopl should be given something extra. Because the first systems right off the line always have the most problems with bugs in the hardware. So I'd agree with you in that day
one hardware purchasers should get something extra, but that something extra should only be an extended warranty.

Unless people have their heads in the sand they would know the price you pay today will no doubt be more than in the months afterwards.

I'm also sure people know when there's new hardware ( even with newly released games ) you often get bugs so if people want to save money/get a better deal then the simple solution is to wait. No one is forced to rush out day one and hand their money over
so no point complaining when they had a choice to wait. Plus by waiting a little longer for consoles/games then chances are a lot if not all the major issues have been fixed through updates etc

So no doubt quite a few will disagree but I believe Microsoft owes nothing to these people.

 

Its really sad that everyone is just holding on to xboxs and microsofts pocket and being dragged around the yard! I have gone through xbox and xbox 360 and loved them problems were acceptable at the time and then xbone comes out and im in! (without checking
reviews. . . because im an idiot fan boy) just to find out that i bought an unfinished console with problems as far as the eye can see . . . how people dont see this baffles me. . . both microsoft 10 and xbone are hugely controlling trying to tell US! how
to game so we follow them to there future of pay walls and subscription barriers!. . . It seems this new console is just the xbone done properly and it really hurts because when i bought the xbone with my trust of previous hardware i thought id be getting
a finished product not a bare minimum foundation waiting for updates (that takes faaaaaar too long btw) to bring it to what it should be on release. . . My advice is to forget about xbox (forever. . .) its a bad console(company) get a computer. . . An ok gaming
comp with win10 (i call it big brother 10 ) will play all xbone games and exclusives not only that but the way xbone is with having to install all games loooool (huge problem) its turning into a bad pc anyway. . . buy a ps4 with the money you were gonna
use on this xbone S because they arent turning the gaming community into constant taxs. . . i mean if they care about the customer why would they use this marketing strategy? and why try get rid of used games? the games company makes good money when they produce
good games but xbox and microsoft are holding the line of right and wrong and changeing it in there favor(not ours). . . the newer generations dont know about the freedoms millennials had with gaming and they are being brain washed by these acts and thinking
they are the norm . . . This is the beginning of the end of the golden age of gaming freedom soon it will all be monitored and the gaming experience altered to a money making scam where $60 is the starting price for tier 1 of the game lol and if you want the
full game you have to pay for 3 more tiers The warning signs are there if you cant see that then gaming as we know it is doomed . . . xbone is the trump of the console world and the only way to make it better(in their minds) is to make it a console for
the wealthier 1% and when that happens the dinamics of gaming economics will never be the same . . .

SUPER RANT lol Iblis is completely correct this is not fair and this should stop. . . instead they should have waited until they were finished (or been faster) with the xbone s because this is what we expected (dont get me wrong its microsoft so there will
be flaws) when we wanted the xbone. . . I really dont think it deserves the praise it gets from people. . .

P.S. seriously no internet connection and you cant sign in ? Why ! many lower lvl programs allow it ? so why. . . because we want to keep an eye on you SPREAD THE WORD PEOPLE HAVE THE POWER

Actually its giving them a headache and over to psp4...reason, beenin, since i been on all xboxs, not 4gettin it hasnt been hacked like ppsp3...that day will come...for each new product...counts towards..another player been removed, as old retro consoles
have seen, gone broke....someones miss a point in the discussion....be professional and considered...bc ur day come when someone will be far more ahead...after all...where u are...theres always another...100 willing to sure they a looked after and keeps xboxesplayers..stayin
