    Hi All,

    I'm hoping to join the world of Xbox tomorrow... looking to purchase the Battlefield 1 bundle.

    I have a quick question for anyone out there with an Xbox One S

    I have read quite a lot of posts regarding the noise of the fan, is this a widespread problem?

    Xbox One FAILS at 4k Rendering

    The player above is correct the current Xbox one console cannot render 4k resolution on the Xbox one S has that feature at the moment.

    Hey there Armkiller,

    It sounds like the fan may be off it's bearing and most likely happened during shipping. Since you just purchased the console a week ago, we'd suggest exchanging it for a new console that doesn't have the noise issue.

    Hard for me to hear in that video. Is it coming from the fan? When in doubt, "return it to the retailer you bought it from, for a new one" I always say...

    sound fine.

    This isn't the origI also Xbox one, this one isn't silent so to speak.

    Also if you have a disc in the drive it will be louder.
