    Xbox One S noise from hard disk?


    Hi, I have a xbox one s, I wanted to know if it is normal that the console emits a "croaking" noise from hard disk when is turned on (especially when I play or download a game) I have already tried to replace it to the store without solving.

    Console works fine.

    Why did my Xbox One S beep and click

    it was coming from the hard drive. i did an internet seach and the clicking noise was similar to the "hard drive click of death". A failing hard drive.

    My cousin's xbox one S made the same clicking noise with no beep, the clicking in his xbox was coming from the fan

    It is a bit hard to tell from the video if your Xbox One is indeed disfunctional or not. Is the noise noticeable from a distance, or while playing games? A small amount of noise is normal for the Xbox One.

    Does it make a sound like a CD scratching or rubbing on something then disappears after the console gets hotter after 15 to 20 minutes?
