    XBOX One S no video


    My monitor fell and broke. I had my Xbox connected via a VGA wire with an HDMI adapter to the monitor. That night I attempted to connect my Xbox to another TV via HDMI cord and could only get a black screen/no signal.

    Today I bought a new monitor and connected the Xbox via HDMI cord to it. The monitor recognizes the console being plugged in, but then shows no signal.

    I've attempted to start the console in low res mode but I only get one chirp and that's it, and still same problem.

    I've attempted the factory reset via USB, I get one start up chirp and nothing else.

    I'll hold the appropriate buttons down for 30 plus seconds and never get a second chirp.

    Prior to the monitor breaking the xbox worked fine and had no problems. Any ideas?

    • Xbox- Microsoft Video Game Console from the 6th Generation of Video Game Consoles
    • Xbox 360- Microsoft Video Game Console from the 7th Generation of Video Game Consoles (includes all Xbox 360 Models ie Core, Arcade, Pro, Elite, S, E)
    • Xbox One- Microsoft Video Game Console from the 8th Generation of Video Game Consoles (includes all Xbox One Models (ie S)
    • Project Scorpio (working name)- Microsoft Video Game Console from the 9th Generation of Video Game Consoles
