    Xbox one s no sound


    My brand new Xbox One S will not play any sound

    .it will ding when starting up

    .it plays the video from a CD but no sound

    .it does not make any sound from any apps

    . I have restored it to factory new several times

    . I haved changed settings- audio from stereo to surround sound each time

    .I have tried different HDMI cords

    . Am I missing something?

    . Please save my sanity

    Final Fantasy 15 No sound

    I bought Final Fantasy today and updated/installed it on Xbox one S

    But there's no sound while playing.

    Xbox sound works except in game sound don't work.

    Any help ?

    All my settings are good except just no sound on final Fantasy 15

    Xbox One S - No headset sound

    I have tried this, and also done a full hard reset on the console. Still no change unfortunately.

    Sound Troubleshooter     on our website. Also has another tv been tried? Let us know how it goes!

    I bought Fifa 23 for Xbox Series S but it won't install

    Does it specify Xbox Series S or Xbox One S? Those are different things. It sounds like you bought the version for the One. You would need to refund it and get the correct version if that is the case.

    4K or HDR

    It doesn't sound like the base model Xbox One will get either. That could change later, but it sounds like you'd need the Xbox One S, or next year's Scorpio, to get either 4K or HDR.

    Keep in mind if you have an xbox one s or x you must enable UHD and HDR mode

    For the S you must turn off HDR when playing xbox games otherwise you lose sound I know because I losr sound while playing tomb raider on my s unit
