    Xbox One S no signal


    Xbox had been running fine, got a second hand 40 inch Veon tv and was running well. However, one day I had a bunch of things plugged into the same power box and started it up and it started bugging out with the black screen no signal (not sure if it was due to the power box or not but assume so). I've tried every method seen online to fix eg. ensuring hdmi plugged in to the right socket, factory reset, plugging into a wall, restarting, starting up in low res (which works just not when I try switch it back to 1080p or even 720p) etc. I've even gave it considerable time on its own to sort itself out but nothing. Tried plugging my xbox into other tv's and it works perfectly fine and I've also done the same with plugging other xbox's into my tv which also works fine. It just seems my xbox has all of a sudden blocked itself from working with my tv and I don't know how to get it working again on that particular TV (also factory resetted the TV).

    If anyone knows any solutions please help

    Just tested two other controllers still very poor signal. Conclusion or my console i faulty or xbox one have s..t signal range overall which would not be very good news

    Hdr washed out colors and dimmer during hdr content

    it seems to be an issue on many different tv models so it's definitely an Xbox one S firmware problem not receiving the HDR signal correctly

    How does the xbox one s know to upscale or input game info to 4k, if the games are not the 4k version?

    Xbox One S has a 1080p output for this game with HDR. You TV upscale input video signal to 4K, if it not a 4K or less.

    I just dropped it off at a place to get it looked at and fixed. I bought it used and im the 3rd owner so I figure the warranty was done.
